Niagara Falls straddles the Canada-US border, but the two sides see completely different views — one country got the postcard shot, the other got a side angle.
Niagara Falls is actually three separate waterfalls — Horseshoe Falls (mostly on the Canadian side), American Falls, and the smaller Bridal Veil Falls, all fed by the same Niagara River.
Niagara Takes Flight — a $25M flying-theater ride
Opened August 2025 at Table Rock Centre on the Canadian side, this six-minute flying-theater ride carries guests over the full 56km Niagara River corridor on a 17-metre domed screen, partly narrated by filmmaker James Cameron, who grew up in Niagara Falls. Tickets from $29 (adults) / $19 (children), or included in Niagara Parks' bundled passes.
Horseshoe Falls, the largest and most photographed of the three, curves toward the Canadian shore — meaning the classic wide, sweeping view is only available from the Canadian side.
At peak flow, roughly 2,832 cubic metres of water pour over Horseshoe Falls every second — enough that flow rates are actually reduced at night and in winter to preserve the rock face.

Boat tours and viewpoints close to the base get genuinely soaked with spray — rentals are available, but a poncho helps.
The falls are lit in changing colors after dark year-round, drawing a different crowd than the daytime views.
